Private Kilauea Iki and Lava Tube Hike

Description
This 7.24 km (4.5 mile) moderate guided loop hike through Volcanoes National Park begins and ends at the Kilauea Visitor Center. Your adventure will kick off with breathtaking views of Halemaumau Crater. Next, you’ll trek through a lush rainforest, taking in sights of both Halemaumau and Kilauea Iki craters. We’ll then traverse the hardened lava lake of Kilauea Iki, formed during the 1959 eruption, before concluding our journey by exploring the fascinating Nahuku Lava Tube.
This tour is a private experience for groups of up to eight people. For groups larger than eight, there is an additional charge of $125 per person. A private tour is an excellent option for families with younger children, providing a more personalized experience tailored to your group’s needs.

Exclusions:
- $30 for vehicle 7 days includes all National Parks in Hawaii or $80 for a year to all National Parks.
Participant Restrictions:
Minimum age- active 7 year old. The participant should be able to navigate backcountry trails that may be narrow, uneven, rough, rocky, and exposed cliffs or ledges. This can be done independently or with the assistance of a companion. The participant should also be capable of covering at least 4 miles, which includes an elevation gain and loss of 500 feet. Furthermore, they must be able to carry personal gear and equipment, including 1 liters of water, a rain jacket, and sunblock.
